How To Add A New User

Adding and inviting users is an important step in getting your community onto your App. We have tried to make this as easy as possible so you can start engaging your new users in no time!

Adding A New User

Important Note: Each user you add will need to correspond with a “User Type”, which tells the software how much access they are allowed to have in the platform. We covered that in the last post, but if you want to revisit how to do that, click here

If you’ve already completed that step, well, awesome! We’re ready to continue. 

STEP ONE
When you click on the 'New User' button, you will see a drop down listing 4 options: New user, New Kiosk login, Bulk Upload & Check Uploads. Choose 'New User'.
STEP TWO
Then enter in the following details; User name (1), Site the user is connected to, if applicable (2), Type of user (3), Birthday (4), the user's phone number (5) and their email address (6).
STEP THREE
Scroll down the page to add a profile image for your new User. (Note: This is optional - if a customer does not wish to have one they don't need to.)
STEP FOUR
Save your new user, by clicking the button in the bottom right of screen.
WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
When you click 'Save', an automated text is generated and sent to the user mobile number you nominated. The text welcomes them to your community and provides them with a link to download the App and get started. It's as easy as that.

Adding A Kiosk Login

This will be the login used to access the tablet or device placed in your reception or another common area, for customers who do not have a device or do not wish to be on the App. Usually it will be maintained by admin staff and will be a generic email and password.

STEP ONE
When you click on the 'New User' button, you will see a drop down listing 4 options: New user, New Kiosk login, Bulk Upload & Check Uploads. Choose 'New Kiosk Login'.
STEP TWO
Enter in the following details; An email address (1) and password (2).
STEP THREE
Save your new user, by clicking the button in the bottom right of screen.

Bulk Upload

To upload a list of Users in bulk you would use the Bulk Upload function.

You will need a CSV File of users to do this process. You can create a CSV file of your users from an Excel Spreadsheet, and most databases have an Export to CSV option.

Click the Browse button and select the file. (1)
STEP THREE
Click Upload and Save. The users will populate into your database.

Check Uploads

This is where you can see the status and history of any bulk uploads. Click through the slides below to see how it works.
