I've been working for, in and with community organisations now for 30 years. It's the simplicity of community leaders and members wanting to make a difference in the lives of people in need, regardless of their socio-economic status, age and circumstances in life that brings me back every time. Communities are where change happens, where lives matter and people come together to be more than they are individually.In my role at Pluss Communities I get to be deeply embedded in helping communities do community better. This time it's through the software they use to connect, engage and manage their members but the outcomes are the same, lives are changed and communities thrive.
At a local community level I value the opportunity to volunteer where I can. I have been Chairing a special assistance school board for the last 5 years. The difference the college makes in the lives of young people and their families is quite extraordinary.
When I get the chance, I love nothing more than getting outdoors camping. A chance to sit around a campfire and enjoy a good red wine and great company is life at its best.

I have spent the last 20 years dividing my time between my day job working for digital technology businesses and my weekend passion of community radio broadcasting.As Chief Revenue Officer, it is my role to lead Pluss’ sales and marketing efforts, ensuring that every senior’s living organisation understands how our app can enhance their communities.
I started my career in media, working for pure-play digital media publishers such as CBS Interactive before launching music streaming platforms Pandora and SoundCloud into Australia.
Since then I have been helping to commercialise and scale Australian apps and technology startups across a number of industries. I am passionate about good, clean product design and simple user experience, as this is the key to high customer engagement.
I became an advisor to Pluss in 2019, before jumping in full time in 2023 to help this incredible company realise its potential.
Music is a huge part of my world, being a vinyl collector and community broadcaster on Northside Radio in Sydney for over two decades. And when I’m not working or spinning records, you will find me hanging out with my family, surfing, skiing or catching fish.

I spent the first 19 years of my life in Denmark, where just about everyone is a member of a club or a social organisation - if not multiple. It’s the Danish way of connecting with people. When I got the chance to help foster community connections and combat social isolation via technology, it was a natural fit.I am the Chief Technology Officer with responsibilities ranging from product fit and development to technological optimisation and security. I help build and manage the app our customers use, while ensuring their privacy and data is well protected. I love turning customer requests and feedback into new product improvements that help nurture the experience.
As a teenager, I played plenty of video games including managing teams of 40 online players to achieve certain tasks. I then got into video game editing and creation, which led me to studying computer science at The University of Queensland. Since then, I have spent 10 years building software systems focusing on development, before stepping into a role that includes overseeing product management.
Outside of Pluss, I still enjoy video games, when I’m not busy watching sports or spending time at the park with my daughter. I also enjoy brewing my own beer and once took out the top spot at the Toowoomba Homebrew Competition with an American-style red ale.

There’s something that I love about communities. It’s a place where we feel we truly belong, and are part of something bigger than ourselves. People are the heart of communities and the Pluss communications app is at the heart of connecting communities together.As Community Manager, my role is to lead the onboarding process and support customers as best as I know how. I love a good resource and explainer video, so you will see (and hear) my handy work in the Pluss User Guide and Community Newsletters. We have developed a full suite of onboarding resources to give you the knowledge and tools to manage the Pluss platform, generate engaging content, increase your member engagement, and successfully onboard your community.
Before joining Pluss, I spent 15 years working in the education industry as a senior marketing and communications professional. This journey is where I learned a love for communities and my purpose in guiding them to a deeper place of connection. When members of any community feel engaged and connected to, customer satisfaction flourishes. This is a very powerful way to generate your community’s positive word of mouth advocates. This is the power of the Pluss platform and I will train your team on how to achieve this.
When I’m not doing what I love in supporting customers, you will find me at one of Adelaide’s local beaches, coaching my kids’ soccer teams, finding my inner zen at a hot yoga studio or perhaps sipping some of McLaren Vale’s finest reds.
